A second-generation entrepreneur, he belongs to a family that has been active in the steel industry since the end of World War II. After graduating with a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Genoa, he grew the family business until its merger in 2002 with the Finnish multinational Outokumpu, a global leader in stainless steel production.

During his tenure at Outokumpu, he served as CEO of the Italian subsidiary and subsequently held several key roles within the Parent Company, including Executive VP of Sales & Marketing and Member of the Executive Committee, while also overseeing various M&A operations.

In 2010, he founded Trinoxia in Genoa—a consulting, agency, and trading firm specializing in the steel sector (flat and long products). In 2011, he acquired a majority stake in the OSTP Group, one of Europe’s leading producers of welded stainless steel tubes and fittings, where he currently serves as CEO.
